17/9/05 – Katy wins post graduate bitch with Tilly at West Bromwich CS Open Show. She also qualified for the Junior Handling Association finals at Richmond in September 2006

On Sunday 3rd July at BGSDTC open show, under judge John Thys (Deodatus), Katy handled Mascani Caprice to victory in the Junior bitch class having been thrown in at the deep end when the “professional” handler booked to handle let us down at the very last moment. Mom and I were so proud of Katy – she may not have achieved the perfection that some of the more seasoned handlers can but she put 110% effort into the class and was able to demonstrate the star quality of this beautiful bitch. We would like to thank the other exhibitors at this show who gave Katy so much encouragement – your support certainly spurred her on and she decided to take Caprice on to the bitch challenge where she ended up in third place at the tender age of 14 months.
